2027 Team Registration - OPENS OCTOBER 1st

Team registration is ONLINE ONLY and requires payment by credit card at the time of registration. Smokin' on the Rio no longer accepts "mail-in" registration forms. If you need assistance registering, please contact us via email at smokinontherio@gmail.com.

Renewal Registration/Jackpots: ($300 per TEAM + $50 per Jackpot. Opens October 1st, 2026 at 10AM till December 14, 2026 at 10PM

OPEN Registration/Jackpots: ($300 per TEAM + $50 per Jackpot. Opens December 15th, 2026 at 10AM till February 11th, 2027 at 10PM

Youth Teams — High School, FFA & 4-H

Smokin' on the Rio added a High School Team Division in 2025. For 2027, the youth division is expanding to include High School, FFA, and 4-H teams.

Youth teams compete against other youth teams for division awards and recognition (non-monetary), and also compete against all Smokin' on the Rio contestants for the top prizes — the advertised payouts are open to all teams, including youth teams. Teams are 4–5 students in grades 9–12; FFA and 4-H members must be current members of their organization. Same registration dates apply, and youth campsites are pre-assigned in a designated area.
